Pediatric First Aid for Teachers/Caregivers

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is pleased to bring you Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers (PedFACTs), a national pediatric first aid course. The PedFACTs course is designed to give caregivers and teachers the education and confidence that they need to care effectively for sick or injured children. This participant manual is the core of the PedFACTs course with features that reinforce and expand on the essential information. Each topic is divided into three sections:

What You Should Know - Provides background information.
What You Should Look For - Provides assessment information.
What You Should Do - Provides first aid treatment information.
